place for you.We are currently seeking a Senior Director of
Accounting to lead inventory, accounts payable, and fixed assets
accounting and related processes/systems, reporting directly to the
Principal Accounting Officer. This individual is a key member of
the accounting team, responsible for the close process, day to day
accounting, and scale/transform the processes and systems. The role
requires establishing and maintaining working relationships with
business partners across the organization, supporting management
with analysis, and coaching and mentoring a high-performing
team.You Will:Responsible for operational accounting related to
inventory, cost accounting, cost of goods sold, inventory
impairment assessment, accounts payable, and capital
expenditureResponsible for monthly and quarterly close,
reconciliations, and financial reporting related to inventory and
gross margin, standard costing including bills of material,
overheads, scrap, and impairment assessmentPartner with Plant
Controller, VP of logistics and manufacturing for effective
inventory countsLead and transform Accounts payable operations and
ensure suppliers are paid in accordance with agreement terms and
coded accurately before being transferred to the general
ledgerLiaise with supply chain and tax teams to ensure VAT and
related taxes are correctly capturedGain a good understanding of
supply chain contracts, and collaborate with business owners and
suppliers to ensure policies and procedures are effectively
communicated and followedAssists in the preparation of the
inventory, gross margin, accounts payable, fixed assets close
process and related reporting deliverables, including reviewing all
reconciliationsEnsure financial records and reports are prepared in
compliance with Company's policies and in accordance with U.S. GAAP
and IFRSWork cross-functionally with business partners and other
corporate functions such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing
and logistics, facilities, new market entries and operations, and
tax structure implementation to ensure optimal accounting
outcomesMaintain internal control and best-practice financial
accounting processes, and ensure compliance with SOX for all areas
of ownershipProvide internal and external auditors with requested
documentation on a timely basisLeads the enhancement/automation of
SAP modules for capital expenditure, GRIR, and inventory.
Collaborate with IT to maintain good system processes and controls
and ensure continuous improvement for our accounting systems
environmentAssist the Finance team in developing budgets,
manufacturing standards, and financial forecastsYou
Bring:Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or MBA in Accounting or
FinanceCPA license strongly preferredMinimum 15 years in a
financial and operational accounting with a mix of Big 4.
Manufacturing industry experience is mustWorking knowledge of SAP
including inventory, capex and AP modules, and BlacklineStrong
ability to coach, mentor and develop team membersWorks well with
multiple individuals from across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance,
Tax, Risk Management, and Internal and External
AuditorsSelf-starter with a strong desire to achieve results;
passionate about quality, results and progressExcellent
decision-making capabilities with a thorough understanding of
drivers impacting the businessExcellent communication skills, both
written and verbal, to convey complex matters with simplicity and
clarity to non-experts across the companyStrong leadership and
management skills, with the ability to manage multi-location
teamsSalary Range: The compensation range for this position is
