Add innovation and investments in state-of-the-art flexographic and digital printing technology and we are able to partner with our customers to address the toughest application challenges - from concept and design, through print production and label application within any of our sites nationwide.We are currently recruiting for a hands-on accountant that will be responsible for performing the billing to cash cycle accounting activities for our location in Newark, CA. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated hands on accounting experience with the billing to cash cycle accounting including billing, cash application, and collections. Experience with account reconciliations, general ledger, and month end closings would be a plus. This accountant position works with three other peers to perform accounting for two locations in Northern California.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Hands on completion of daily accounting functions including billing, cash application and collections.Work closely with internal accounting staff and other corporate locations to ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions.Facilitate external audits by maintaining accurate records and providing requested informationPerform other duties as requested by ControllerLOCATION: Newark, CA.TRAVEL: Position would have minimal travel.Qualifications:ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent in accounting/finance1-3 years of experience in accountingExperience in a manufacturing environment preferredExceptional organizational skills with an elevated level of attention to detailFamiliarity with California sales and use tax lawAbility to learn new software applicationsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbalKnowledge and Understanding of GAAP, some General Ledger experience a plusAbility to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from managerCOMPUTER/SYSTEMS SKILLSUse Excel and other Office software applications on an advanced level (Vlookup and pivot tables)Experience with general ledger packages of integrated ERP systems such as Label Traxx or Radius ERP.
