Job Description:

Adecco is currently helping a local client, "the world's largest SEARCH Engine" in their ground-breaking innovating project. It is a 1 year contract with a very good possibility for extension up to 2 years. It is part of an exciting project with the client. You will be involved in analyzing sales and inventory data for use in forecasting and reporting.

Location: Mountain View, CA

Pay rate range: $35/hr.

Job description:

Role - Demand Planning Analyst (Contract)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the generation of forecasting & operational controls

• Develop & analyze weekly sales and inventory metrics to measure the health of the supply chain and identify opportunities to change inventory flow

• Identify, root cause and resolve inconsistencies in sales & inventory data

• Monitor weekly transactions processed by store locations

• Partner with the marketing, design and store teams on product initiatives.

• Present reporting & analysis to management

Skills

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or business

• 4-5 years experience in retail demand planning and forecasting

• Supply Chain controls and process experience a plus

• Excellent facility with Excel critical; database experience a plus

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Comfortable working in a continuously changing and growing environment
