The Senior Executive Coordinator will serve as a strategic partner
to BioMarin’s new Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO), a
visionary technology leader driving enterprise-wide transformation
through AI, data strategy, and innovation. This role requires an
exceptional professional who can operate at the intersection of
technology, business strategy, and cross-functional
collaboration—enabling the CDIO to maximize impact across
BioMarin’s digital transformation journey. More than traditional
administrative support, this role requires someone who thrives in a
fast-paced, innovation-driven environment where priorities shift
rapidly, initiatives span the globe, and the stakes are high.
You’ll be the trusted right hand to an executive reshaping how
BioMarin leverages technology and data to accelerate breakthrough
therapies to patients. This is an opportunity for a highly

Responsibilities Strategic Partnership & Executive Enablement Serve
as the CDIO’s administrative partner, anticipating needs so
leadership can focus on high-impact transformation priorities
across technology, AI, and data strategy Act as a trusted extension
of the CDIO in managing relationships with C-suite peers, Board
members, external technology partners, and key stakeholders across
a global, matrixed organization Demonstrate exceptional judgment in
prioritizing competing demands and redirecting requests
appropriately while maintaining executive alignment Complex
Coordination in a Dynamic Environment Orchestrate intricate
calendar management across multiple time zones, balancing strategic
planning sessions, transformation program reviews, global team
meetings, vendor partnerships, Board preparation, and external
speaking engagements Coordinate domestic and international travel
with meticulous attention to detail, navigating the complexity of a
global digital organization Manage end-to-end logistics for
high-stakes meetings including transformation leadership offsites,
AI strategy sessions, technology vendor presentations, and
cross-functional innovation workshops Prepare, review and submit
expense reports in alignment with T&E policy Communication &
Stakeholder Management Serve as a critical communications hub for
the digital and information organization, facilitating information
flow between the CDIO, leadership team members, global IT teams,
and cross-functional partners Draft, review, and refine executive
communications, presentations, and strategic documents with clarity
and professional polish Represent the CDIO’s office with
exceptional executive presence, diplomacy, and discretion when
interfacing with senior leaders and external partners
Organizational Leadership & Culture Building Support onboarding and
integration of new digital and IT leadership team members, ensuring
a smooth, welcoming experience Coordinate recognition initiatives,
team-building activities, and engagement programs that strengthen
the digital organization’s culture across global sites Partner with
other executive coordinators to foster collaboration and build a
strong administrative community Leverage digital tools,
collaboration platforms, and emerging technologies (including AI)
to drive efficiency and model innovative ways of working Skills

industries strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree required; degree in

This is a full-time, primarily onsite role based at BioMarin
headquarters in San Rafael, CA Flexibility for occasional remote
