Job Description:
Job Description I am working with a growing client who is
looking for a senior-level executive to work closely with the CEO
of a growing residential real estate development company. This
individual will serve as a strategic partner and operational
leader, responsible for overseeing current business operations and
driving new development initiatives from inception through
completion. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of
leadership in real estate development and the ability to manage
cross-functional teams, external partners, and complex projects.
Key Responsibilities: Act as the CEO’s strategic partner in
overseeing day-to-day business operations. Lead and manage all
aspects of new development projects once deals are finalized,
including land acquisition, entitlements, permitting, environmental
review, construction, and delivery. Oversee coordination with
external stakeholders such as attorneys, environmental consultants,
architects, engineers, contractors, and local municipalities. Drive
the legal and permitting process, including land use approvals,
zoning, and compliance with environmental and regulatory
requirements. Run and grow new business initiatives, including
managing leasing activities and overseeing rental operations.
Direct and manage site operations, including cleaning staff,
porters, and facility services. Establish and maintain strong
vendor and partner relationships to ensure smooth project
execution. Monitor financial performance, budgets, and timelines to
ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
Identify new opportunities for business growth and expansion in the
residential development sector. Build, mentor, and lead internal
teams to support company growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications: 10 years of progressive leadership experience in
residential real estate development, construction, or related
industries. Strong understanding of the full development lifecycle:
land acquisition, entitlements, legal approvals, permitting,
design, construction, leasing, and turnover. Proven ability to
manage complex projects and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Financial acumen with experience in project budgeting, forecasting,
and P&L oversight. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to
operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Compensation:
