Accommodations due to medical or religious exemptions will be considered. We are currently seeking a Serviceability Technician. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of vehicles as well as a passion for working in customer-facing environments. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. The Role * Become an embedded part of Beta Build, becoming a technical expert in Lucid vehicles * Diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles * Collaborate with technical training to create technician training material & publications * Work closely with Design engineers and identify potential assembly and service issues * Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment * Create and develop service documents (service manual procedures, containments, etc.) * Validate repair procedures for accuracy ( Repair procedures, labor time, diagnosis, etc.) * Improve service procedures without compromising safety and quality * Perform tooling validation prior to being release to the field * Support cross functional teams and assist with preproduction vehicle builds * Support cost analyst impact on different serviceability methods and processes * Support and proactively collaborate with Service Engineering, Field Service, Technical Publications, Service Parts, and Service Training Qualifications * A capacity to creatively solve problems and think quickly in fast paced environments * Flexible work availability and ability to travel as needed to support service efforts * Attention to detail and a passion for creating positive team experiences * Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and vendors * An innate drive to maintain product and company reputation, always complying with company communications policies * Excellent communication skills * Proof of excellence in your past position, while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving problems * A passion for our mission, our people, and our customers * Strong oral and written communication skills * Strong organization skills with attention to detail * Strong aptitude for learning new technologies * 5+ years of automotive experience * 4+ years of EV experience * Skills with excel and word * Must possess a valid driver's license * OEM certified master technician is a plus * OEM specific technician is a plus * Strong diagnostic experience Advantageous * OEM Certified Master Technician * EPA 609 Certification * OEM Specific Technician Training * Automotive Technology/Technician Degree or equivalent experience * 3D CAD experience is a plus * Startup experience * Experience supporting service procedures creation and validation * Experience in luxury automobile repair environments * Fabrication experience * Ability to drive non-commercial truck and trailer At Lucid, we don't just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
