We are currently seeking a Senior Test & Validation Engineer in our Software Quality and Validation Engineering team. This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of excellence in the field of systems engineering and software quality. The candidate will be an accomplished leader with a strong organizational capability and ability to command respect from the talented teams he or she will help lead and coordinate.

• The Role:
• Identify, document, and manage system test & validation requirements at the vehicle level for in-house/supplier ECUs
• Drive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between quality assurance, validation, development, and product teams
• Create & amend manual/automated test cases to perform system validation
• Align and support SQA processes and activities within functional areas such as system, hardware and safety
• Coordinate and communicate the rollout of new processes, quality metrics and tools with all impacted teams
• Identify gaps and areas for improvements and drive to a solution
• Mentor and guide junior team members
• The Qualifications
• 5+ years with hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases supporting the validation of large-scale programs & products
• 5+ years of experience in end-to-end Software System validation
• 4+ years of experience in Automotive testing or QA/Test lead experience for a feature or System
• 2+ Years of automation experience in automating the application testing and/or tool development
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Test case management Tool
  
• BS minimum in an engineering discipline (Automotive, computer science, electrical engineering, Mechanical or similar)
• Preferred:
• Experience with languages like Python, C, C++ is a plus
  
• Education:
• BS minimum in an Engineering disciplin such as Automotive, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or similar
