Role: Create and develop innovative Body in White (BIW) components
in aluminum and/or steel to achieve best-in-class vehicle systems,
Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) and crash performance Work closely
with CAE teams interpreting and using analysis results to guide and
evolve the design Work with manufacturing to ensure efficient
buildable designs Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary
cooperative environment Qualifications: Expertise in vehicle
bodyshell design engineering Ability to develop design concepts and
production designs in CATIA V5/6 Knowledge and ability to integrate
state-of-the-art design and manufacturing methods into product
concepts and designs including familiarity with GD&T and
dimensional engineering Working knowledge of Aluminum structure
joining techniques Proof of excellence in your past position, while
demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical design
problems Experience in full life cycle, from concept to prototype
to full production Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
or higher Preferred: Experience with composites Experience with
GD&T Fabrication experience
