Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical
experience. 3 years of experience with one or more optical
technologies such as optical transceivers, optical metro, or
long-haul Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems.
Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or
Python. Preferred qualifications: Experience with network equipment
manufacturer or network operator in engineering or design role.
Experience with planning and designing networks (e.g., multiple
sites, multiple products, etc.). About the job Google is proud to

full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 bonus equity benefits. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within
the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and

Responsibilities Define requirements and identify technologies for
scaling our transport network in a cost-efficient and operationally
streamlined manner. Engage with external vendors and internal teams
to operationalize stable, scalable platforms. Develop and execute
test plans for optical systems. Automate test infrastructure to
qualify and introduce new products into our production network.
Develop tools and processes for automation of network management
and operations
