Our Supplier Quality team enables the industrialization of innovative products in an extremely aggressive timeline. In this highly visible role, the Project Manager (SQ) works together with Program Management, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing and our suppliers to develop ways to deliver challenging designs while at the same time not sacrificing manufacturing requirements for quality.
You must be able to lead supplier quality projects by creating effective project management strategies to achieve ambitious objectives while demonstrating superior relationship, communication skills and a positive attitude.
You Will:

  • Lead and execute diverse projects for supplier quality (SQ) team to create a unique product, service or result or a combination of such to drive positive change & business value creation
  • Ensure visibility of SQ organization by effectively representing SQ teams in the internal and external program meetings and build events, gather high-level information and elaborate into detailed plan for SQ teams
  • Chair disciplined SQ program meetings to communicate detailed SQ plans, follow-up on assigned tasks and monitor progress on SQ projects objectives
  • Develop & implement effective processes and discipline to proactively assess SQ project situation, associated potential risks and maintain communication with stakeholders to ensure delivery of a successful project
  • Create project plans (A3 or similar), clearly define objectives, obtain stakeholders approvals, monitor progress and ensure effective communication throughout the organization
  • Work cross functional with your assigned SQ commodity teams to coordinate and assist SQEs on all supplier industrialization activities between the DRE and GSM
  • Be responsible for driving and tracking all program and product change management activities for the assigned SQ commodities
  • Provide hands on training and coaching on supplier program management processes and systems to ensure effective implementation at the grass root level
  • Perform daily compliance audits to ensure adherence to the supplier quality processes and systems
  • Work in close association with SQEs to perform supplier audits and site inspections; develop process improvement plans and drive implementation; monitor and maintain performance metrics
  • Work in close association with SQEs to support system assembly build, define incoming parts inspections procedure as needed, track build issues and drive suppliers for containment actions and long-term actions
  • Have ability to travel 25-75% on average on a short term or long term basis to Lucid Motors and supplier sites globally on a short noticeYou Bring:
    • Bachelor's degree in technical - Mechanical, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or Business Management.
    • Technical Master's degree or MBA preferred.
    • 3-5 years of program management experience in technical program management.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred.
    • Automotive Tier1/OEM or parallel industry experience preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of the automotive APQP/PPAP and product lifecycle management (PLM).
    • ASQ or ISO or IATF Certified Lead Auditor preferred.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Smartsheet, JMP, Minitab, JIRA and Tableau is a plus.
    • Experience in execution or implementation of Document Control, PLM and ERP system (Infor LN, SAP, Oracle, Plex, etc.) is a plus.
    • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to show teamwork to be part of the solution.
