Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Long Term Acute Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift, 3x12.0\n\n Job Description\n The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. This position involves supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, while promoting patient and employee safety. Emphasizing superior quality and a positive work environment, the role plays a key part in providing comprehensive nursing care. \n\nResponsibilities\n \n Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to establish an individualized care plan. \n Identify patient/family education needs based on nursing assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. \n Provide timely patient information for team conferences and ensure accurate documentation of assessments and interventions. \n Engage in direct patient care while utilizing the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating care. \n Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission. \n Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care. \n Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel while prioritizing patient needs. \n Participate in maintaining a safe and effective work environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures. \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n BLS Certification required prior to first shift. \n ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). \n Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience highly desired. \n \n\nSchedule\n This position typically operates on a night shift with 3x12.0 hours per week. \n\nAssignment Duration\n This is a 13-week contract position. \n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
