Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/30/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel IR RN – Days | 4x10s (08:00–18:30) Main Campus Morris Cancer Center (Connected via Pedestrian Bridge) Shift & Scheduling Shift: 4x10s – 08:00 to 18:30 On-Call: 1–2 days per week 4–6 call shifts per month on average Holiday Requirement: Must be able to work 2 of the 3 major holidays Block scheduling not permitted First-time travelers accepted Locals accepted Experience Requirements 1.5 years Level I Trauma experience OR 2 years Level II Trauma experience Stroke center experience required Scrub experience preferred but not required EKOS (or similar device) experience highly preferred Must have experience with A-line and procedural wedge pressure monitoring RNs assist with PICC procedures but do NOT insert PICCs (PAs perform PICC insertions) Unit / Patient Mix Interventional Radiology coverage includes: Morris Cancer Center (NJ’s first and only freestanding cancer hospital) Main Campus IR Mix includes: Conscious sedation Recovery patients Occasional PACU-bound patients Facility highlights: collaboration between RWJ Barnabas Health & Rutgers Cancer Institute Certifications Required BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NIHSS Additional Notes Clinicians must be comfortable floating between both connected campuses. IR environment with high-acuity oncology and trauma-related procedures.
