Job Description MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a local contract MRI Technologist for a local contract job in Morristown, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Local Contract Outpatient imaging location. Schedule will be as follows: -Mondays 11am-7pm -Tuesdays 1pm-9pm -Wednesdays 1pm-9pm -Thursdays 1pm-9pm -Fridays 11am-7pm Description Position patient on examining table and place specified coil (receiver) such as head coil or knee coil close to area of interest, following protocols requested by Radiologist Demonstrate use of microphone that allows patient and technologist to communicate during examination Enter data such as patient history, anatomical area to be scanned, orientation specified, and position of entry into aperture of MRI equipment into computer Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers into computer Observe patient through window of control room and on closed circuit TV to monitor safety and comfort View images of areas being scanned on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures Key in data on keyboard of camera to photograph images Alert staff entering magnet room to the danger of wearing or carrying metal around magnet Other duties as assigned Skills 1-3 years’ experience as MRI Technician Critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel Ability to read and interpret documents Ability to work independently Education Graduate of Accredited Radiology Program NJ State RT License MR Certified BLS Certification Meta Sense Job ID 36749116L.
