This role focuses on providing expert nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac procedures including open-heart surgery, heart catheterization, and managing cardiac drips in a step-down unit. The position requires advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt to varying patient needs. Key Qualifications and Experience: Current RN licensure Minimum of three years experience in cardiac step-down nursing Proficiency in managing open-heart post-op care, ventilators, and cardiac drips Experience with heart catheter recovery and med-surg step-down patients Familiarity with Epic EMR system BLS and ACLS certification required Location:Situated in Newark, OH, this role is within a vibrant community known for friendly neighborhoods and accessible amenities.
