be considered. Provide expert nursing care in a cardiac step-down
unit, delivering critical support to patients recovering from heart
procedures and managing complex cardiac conditions. This contract
opportunity offers a focused role within an established healthcare
setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure
high-quality patient outcomes. Location: Newark, Ohio Discover

environment. Schedule & Hours: 36 hours per week, day shift (7:00
AM 7:30 PM) Typically every 3rd weekend and one holiday (subject to
change) No regular on-call; rare call days may be required based on
census/staffing Qualifications & Desired Experience: Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 3 years of cardiac step-down
nursing experience Proficient in managing heart cath recovery,
cardiac drips, post-op open heart patients, and general
cardiac/med-surg step-down care Experience with open-heart patients
and mechanical ventilation (Vents) Familiarity with Epic EMR system
BLS and ACLS certifications required Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac step-down patients
Monitor and manage complex cardiac conditions and treatments
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize
patient care Participate in unit float assignments during low
census or staffing crises Maintain accurate documentation using
