Mammography Tech Location: Los Gatos, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,086 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: State Mammography License required Certifications: Certification from relevant bodies preferred but not mandatory Must-Have: - Competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures including biopsies and needle localization. - Produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. - Work independently and exercise sound judgment. - Implement developed clinical skills to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. - Communicate effectively and gain cooperation from patients, families, and other healthcare providers. - Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures. - Maintain patient privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. - May perform specific procedures and/or orient other staff. Description: The Mammography Technologist will competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures. This includes conducting biopsies and needle localization procedures. The role requires producing quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The goal is to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. You will work independently and exercise sound judgment. Developing clinical skills is key to executing safe and precise procedures. You will be responsible for delivering accurate results in a timely manner. Effective communication is vital to gaining confidence and cooperation from patients and their families.
