pediatric and school nursing is needed to provide essential medical
support within an elementary school setting. This contract position
will focus on delivering quality care tailored to the unique needs
of young students, fostering a safe and healthy educational
environment. Location: Newark, NJ Duration: Contract, Current
School Year (CSY) Key Responsibilities: Conduct health assessments
and screenings in accordance with school policies. Manage acute and
chronic health conditions, including administering medications and
treatments as prescribed. Provide first aid and emergency care
promptly and effectively. Collaborate with school staff, parents,
and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized
health plans for students. Maintain accurate and confidential
health records consistent with regulatory requirements. Promote
health education and wellness initiatives within the school
community. Ensure compliance with state and local health
regulations relevant to school nursing. Qualifications: Licensed
Registered Nurse (RN) with current credentials. Previous experience
in school nursing preferred, particularly in an elementary school
setting. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents,
educators, and healthcare professionals. Strong organizational
skills and attention to detail in documentation. Knowledge of
pediatric health issues and school health policies. This contract
