Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Post
Anesthesia Care Unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing
post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. They
will assess patients' conditions, monitor vital signs, and
administer medications as needed. The role includes managing
patient care before and after surgical procedures. The nurse will
collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal
patient outcomes. They will perform essential skills such as IV
management, phlebotomy, and wound care. The nurse will educate
patients and their families regarding post-operative care and
discharge instructions. They will ensure adherence to safety
protocols and manage potential complications effectively. Floating
to pre-operative and recovery areas may be required. On-call duties
may be necessary on certain days. The candidate must be willing to
work weekends and holidays as needed. Continuous education and
completion of required training modules will be expected. Reference
checks will be conducted. Candidates should possess strong
communication and critical thinking skills. Requirements Required
