Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Pediatric PreOp/PACU and Pediatric Critical Care background. License: State RN license Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: COVID-19 vaccination and booster Description: Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Pediatric PACU specialty. The position requires recent experience in Pediatric PreOp/PACU. Candidates should have a strong background in Pediatric Critical Care. Ability to float to other facilities may be required. Certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support are necessary. Experience as a charge nurse is preferred. Candidates must be familiar with high-acuity cardiac patients and various pediatric medical conditions. Flexibility is essential as shifts may vary in start times and lengths (8 or 12 hours). The unit cares for patients with a range of surgical diagnoses, including ENT, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, and more. Familiarity with specialized equipment such as tracheostomy tubes and home ventilators is preferred. Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
