A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to provide exceptional perioperative care. This role focuses on supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety and comfort during operative procedures. Location:The position is based in Fort Bragg, CA, a charming coastal town known for its stunning ocean views, vibrant arts scene, and outdoor recreational activities. Schedule: Day shift 40 hours per week 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM On-call required, including every other weekend and intermittently throughout the week 5 to 8-hour shifts during on-call periods Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN licensure with experience in the Operating Room setting Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Strong ability to remain calm and efficient during high-pressure surgical circumstances Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience with perioperative nursing procedures and protocols Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms and assist in setting up surgical equipment Monitor patients vital signs and respond appropriately throughout surgical procedures Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards Provide patient education and emotional support before and after surgery Benefits include professional development opportunities and a structured work schedule that helps balance your personal and professional life.
