Job Description Staff Today is seeking a local contract nurse
Correctional for a local contract nursing job in Middle Township,
New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
Correctional - Discipline: RN - Duration: 11 weeks - 24 hours per
week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local
Contract Health Advocates Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to
work at a Facility in Middle Township, NJ . This is a registry
position with our company. Pay Rate: $61.50 / hour *W2 Shifts
Available: - Sat. and Sun. 7a-7p, and Mon. 7p-7a - 13 week
assignment. Minimum Qualifications: - At least one year (12 months)
of experience as a Registered Nurse - A valid and current RN
license issued by the State of NJ - A valid and current BLS card
(American Heart Association) - Proficiency in the English language
is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN
must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written
English. - Must have correctional experience. - Due to strict
background qualifications of the site, candidates must have a clean
record. Job Responsibilities: - Provides general nursing care to
patients - Administers prescribed medications and treatments in
accordance with approved nursing techniques. - Prepares equipment
and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
- Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions,
and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and
reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. - Takes
temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect
deviations from normal and assess condition of patient. - May serve
as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number
of patients. - Additional RN duties given by Supervisor. Must have
correctional experience./n/nDue to strict background qualifications
