We are currently recruiting for a seasoned HR Generalist to join our Human Resources Team The HR Generalist will provide overall support to our 3 manufacturing facilities ensuring a safe environment at all times while administering policies relating to all phases of human resources. Responsibilities: Administers payroll by verifying hours worked in accordance with state laws, experience utilizing ADP is preferred Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance Recruits, interviews, tests and selects employees to fill vacant hourly positions Responds to employee questions and inquiries regarding payroll policies and procedures Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals Keeps records of benefits plans participation, new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting. Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence and employee assistance. Advises supervisors regarding appropriate resolution of employee relations issues such as disciplinary actions, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety and unlawful harassment Assists with performance management, working closely with supervisors providing guidance for performance reviews and merit increases Manages safety training, incidents and compliance, investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
