Job Description Job Description We are looking for a full-time
Junior HR Generalist to support our client's Human Resources
function! This role is ideal for someone early in their career, or
a recent graduate, who wants to build a strong foundation in HR
through hands-on experience and one-on-one mentorship. In this
position, you’ll help keep day-to-day HR operations running
smoothly, provide guidance to employees and managers, assist with
onboarding and departures, coordinate recruiting activities, and
maintain internal HR documentation. You’ll also play a key role in
compliance tasks, licensing renewals, and the coordination of
occasional offsite team events. You’ll work closely with the HR
Manager, who is committed to helping you develop professionally and
learn the full spectrum of HR responsibilities. No prior HR
experience is required, though 1–2 years in HR or a
business/operations support role is beneficial. This is an
entry-level role designed for long-term growth, with ongoing
training, mentorship, and opportunities to expand your HR
responsibilities over time. This role is based in Santa Clara,
California in office on a day to day basis. Required Skills Ability
to handle confidential information responsibly and maintain
professionalism at all times. Strong communication skills (written
and verbal), attention to detail, and comfort juggling multiple
tasks. Self-motivated work style with strong follow-through; able
to manage time well and meet deadlines. Dependable, resourceful,
and committed to consistently supporting employees and managers.
Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS or ATS) is helpful but not
required; eagerness to learn quickly is essential. Key
Responsibilities Support a variety of HR and administrative duties,
including preparing company laptops, managing onboarding and exit
processes, and assigning or removing system access. Serve as the
first point of contact for everyday HR questions. Oversee user
administration for platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, and
other internal tools. Assist with recruitment activities, including
drafting job postings, managing the applicant pipeline through our
ATS, communicating with candidates, and scheduling interviews. With
direction from the HR Manager, offer guidance to leadership to help
reduce organizational risk and maintain compliance. Assist with
benefits-related tasks, run background checks and employment
verifications, initiate performance review cycles, and ensure
required compliance training is completed. Suggest improvements to
HR processes, documentation, and administrative workflows, with a
focus on efficiency and accuracy. Required Qualifications 1–2 years
of HR or business/office operations experience is a plus but not
required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business,
Sociology, or a related discipline. Genuine interest in pursuing a
