You will play one of the leading roles in implementation of core enterprise systems for Lucid, including cross-functional business processes, coordination of core business data and delivery of business enabling solutions. You will bridge the technical and functional worlds while engaging with broad functional teams, Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance, and Engineering.Responsibilities

  • Hands on full stack software engineering lead conceptualizing, architecting and building cloud applications that scale efficiently.
  • Architecting microservices for optimal performance across manufacturing applications.
  • Design and develop a stand-alone manufacturing applications to support business optimization.
  • Requirements gathering and use case study to develop web applications for internal customers.
  • Develop and deploy web applications in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment.
  • Define test cases and develop a test harness to ensure proper requirement coverage.
  • Ensure optimization of software through design reviews and code reviews.
  • Leading a team of highly skilled and enthusiastic engineers and utilizing their abilities to achieve big goals.
  • Inspire the engineers to push themselves to their personal best and beyond.Requirements
    • 8+ years of experience working with cloud-based systems.
    • MS/BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science, Computer engineering, Electrical engineering or other related fields or equivalent experience.
    • Proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithms and writing code.
    • Should have sound understanding of distributed systems and its paradigms.
    • Has prior experience, designing a system which scales from ground up.
    • Proficiency in a major programming language(s) like Golang, C/C++, Python, Java.
    • Experience with Node.js, Angular.js, and React framework.
    • Hands-on experience with Containers and Container Orchestration. Docker and Kubernetes experience preferred.
    • Hands-on experience with Messaging Queues and the Pub/Sub design pattern.
    • Hands-on experience with setting up a Full Stack.
    • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
    • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
    • Establishing reusable code, libraries, and patterns.
    • Working knowledge of Networking protocols such as TCP/UDP, MQTT, REST etc.
    • Experience with Kafka and MQTT message brokers.
    • Sound understanding of REST, API design and distributed systems in general.
    • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
    • Detail-oriented with strong time management and organization skills, dedication to quality, appreciation for design and beautiful UX.
    • Supporting production operations and provide engineering-level insight on platform issues.
