RMS looking for a Staff Software Engineer to be part of a team responsible for designing and developing the critical business applications in the Core Products suite. The Software Development group focuses on developing and building cutting edge, high-performance enterprise software solutions that deliver risk quantification tools to our clients worldwide.You will use best-of-breed technology from both established vendors such as Oracle Java as well as open source technology. As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in designing, developing, and innovating together as you bring your considerable software engineering skills to our dynamically growing organization. Required experience and skills:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field with 8-10 years of professional experience
• At least 10 years of experience in object-oriented design, data structures, design patterns, algorithms, and programming skills using C++ or Java/C#
• Ability to build fast, reliable, scalable, highly available, services and software components
• Demonstrated ability to produce quality code and experience with source control systems like Git/Bitbucket
• Past experience with Agile methodologyWhat You'll Be Doing- Participate and help in the integration of the architecture solutions, design patterns, technical strategy and roadmaps- Collaborate and work with Technical leads to design and build the complex solutions- Provide technical guidance, direction, and problem solving to engineering team members.- Defines and communicates the architecture standards, guidelines by facilitating the design and establishment of architecture standards or controls.- Creates architectures for large scale, high-impact technology solutions by collaborating with other architects/leads to develop the target state.- Building UI components library which will reuse in multiple projects.- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers- Design and develop microservices based application using Vue.js / JavaScript/ Nux.js or others.
  Required experience and skills:- 10+ years of JavaScript programming experience; proven track record of on-time delivery- Bachelor's Degree (or Master's Degree) in Mathematics or Computer Science.- In-depth understanding of coding languages JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks (Vue.js, React.js etc.)
  - Experience on collecting high-level requirements and translating them into technical solutions
  - Superb communication skills, and the ability to work directly with business leaders, providing technical expertise across Cloud offerings and on-premise offerings- Define solutions in terms of components, modules and algorithms
  - Create design documents, code, unit/functional test, document and implement new programs and subprograms, as well as enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software.
  - Sound working knowledge of writing complex resuable UI component, microservices style of architecture and rest api's.Strong understanding of selecting and utilizing appropriate data structures and algorithms to create running programs
  - Experience with performance measurement, bottleneck analysis, and resource usage monitoring- Demonstrable skills in analytic computing and algorithms- Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards, processes and systems.- Prepare design documents; evaluate and recommend solutions to meet user requirements; define and implement solutions.
  - Experience contributing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle experience including planning, designing, development, unit testing, other testing and debugging
  Desirable experience and skills:
  -Expert in Vuejs, Nuxt Framework-Understanding of material design , CSS flexbox ,color theory, typography, composition and iconography a plus-Experience with Object Oriented JavaScript and modern JavaScript libraries (e.g., Closure, jQuery, Node)-Experience in test driven development
