Technical Project Manager, Autopilot Triage As a member of the Autopilot Triage Team, you will help uncover top issues, trace them to their technical root-cause(s) & support engineering in solving and validating them. This role has an immediate impact on setting overall team priorities and directly measures progress against our goal of achieving Full-Self Driving. You will be at the center of the action, so it will be both exciting and intense at times! What to Expect As a member of the Autopilot Triage Team, you will help uncover top issues, trace them to their technical root-cause(s) & support engineering in solving and validating them. This role has an immediate impact on setting overall team priorities and directly measures progress against our goal of achieving Full-Self Driving. You will be at the center of the action, so it will be both exciting and intense at times! What You'll Do


  • Apply understanding of software stack and technical implementations to root cause problems, organize them into common failure modes, and assess priority
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA to identify solutions to issues, and help track those resolutions to closure
  • Write data queries to mine data from the fleet to find more examples of issues or improve neural networks.
  • Generate reports that communicate top issues, release blockers, progress and next steps for various projects
  • Conduct or coordinate in-vehicle testing to support engineering development
  • Build test evaluations that help serve as a measure of progress for engineering
  • Write scripts to automate daily workflows such as intervention diagnosis, resolution tracking or project status reports What You'll Bring
    • Bachelor's Degree in Technical field like Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, practical software/AI engineering development experience, or equivalent
    • Familiarity with machine learning, self-driving fundamentals, Python or C++ a plus
    • Excellent work ethic, communication, attention to detail and collaboration skills
    • Energetic about taking on hard problems
    • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment with high ambiguity

        Expected Compensation
        $88,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

        Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
