Job Description:

The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for providing support to the Purchasing department by assisting in organizing and maintaining stockroom materials and supplies, by issuing materials to the production department, along with supporting the inventory control procedures. This is a GRAVEYARD position.9:30PM-6:00AM KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide materials/supplies according travelers/requisition form. Issue MRO and Stock Consumables. MRO and Stock Consumable inventory control. Replenish supplies. Maintain safety and security of all materials, tools, supplies, etc. in stockroom. Receive and inspect incoming materials/supplies and distribute/stock accordingly. Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory levels. Enter/update inventory on purchasing software (ProCim) and/or excel spreadsheet. Perform daily clerical functions: filing, copying, data entry etc. Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors. May be required to operate a forklift as needed. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required. A minimum of 1-2 years of warehouse/stockroom experience. Excellent, professional customer service skills with vendors and internal/external customers with a sense of urgency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good mathematical aptitude. Good computer skills: Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to learn new skills and tasks as required. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds maximum and stand/walk throughout the day. Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment. SUPERVISES: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift 20 lbs., open filing cabinets, and bend, stand, or climb on step ladders as necessary. ENVIRONMENT : -Manufacturing facility with exposure to electronics assembly equipment and materials. -May require working in a controlled environment with specific temperature and humidity requirements. -Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform work. CA Salary range $20 - $24 per hour with Benefits and Perks. .
