Responsibilities

Summary

The position will join its exciting sales team in Newark, California.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for all of Inforce's products
  • Deliver technical product presentations, demos, and competitive benchmarking to highlight and position Inforce as a leading provider of high-performance embedded platforms and solutions
  • Assist Sales in developing account strategies and tactical support to close design wins
  • Provide design assistance during customer product design, including onsite visits to review designs, examine design constraints, problem solve issues, and provide suggestions for optimal ways to use Inforce's products and solutions
  • Assist customers through their development cycle to ensure successful completion of their product
  • Establish and manage relationships with key individuals and decision makers at customer accounts
  • Identify and develop new opportunities to grow Inforce's business at these accounts
  • Understand competitor's strengths and weaknesses relative to Inforce's technical strategy
  • Communicate and coordinate with the field and factory personnel to obtain and deliver the required customer support
  • Provide technical training and account strategy support for distributors. Contribute to Inforce's technical collateral such as application notes, and technical presentations
  • Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult technical challenges in multiple end-use applications.

Important Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Have a B.S. or M.S. degree in EE/Computer Engineering
  • The right candidate will have a solid understanding of embedded hardware and software, business practices and procedures in order to perform non-repetitive analytic work
  • Possess 10+ years of industry experience in embedded designs based on X86 and ARM architectures
  • Strong familiarity with Intel, TI OMAP, Freescale i.MX, and Qualcomm Snapdragon based embedded products is a must
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of embedded technologies used in multimedia, robotics, medical devices, and wearable hands-free computing applications.
