Job Description:


The Senior Inventory Analyst will be responsible for maintenance of accurate Manufacturing inventory by ensuring standard work is being followed for staging, documenting and consumption of raw materials, WIP and assemblies along with routine cycle counts to perform required adjustments.


  • Ensure continuous accurate physical and electronic counts of inventory of assigned areas
  • Ensure accurate and routine cycle counts of assigned areas
  • Investigates any material discrepancies and perform material adjustment transactions in SAP as necessary
  • Audit daily SAP transactions
  • Analyze complex inventory issues involving real-time inventory levels, including Work-in-Process (WIP) inventory materials which may include external ERP tracking systems.
  • Team with Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Planning and Purchasing departments to ensure accurate inventory levels for business continuity.
  • Manages the collection and presentation of Global Inventory metrics and KPIs
  • Manage MRB and NCR materials, disposition and ensure transactions are complete and accurate
  • Perform follow-up discussions with Logistics team members with any issues related to cycle counts or MRB/NCR errors
  • Serve as an inventory control liaison between MFG and Logistics departments to provide systems analysis and support. Leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of the department vision and end users throughout the organization.
  • Prepare and present inventory trends and performance to accuracy to management as needed
  • Use DBS tools to generate ideas for process improvements and to resolve on-going issues
  • Review MF47/COGI list of errors and troubleshoot these errors with a cross functional team as required across MFG, Logistics and IT
  • Generate new ideas, strategy and system enhancements for support of MFG business processes related to inventory management in the manufacturing areas


  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
  • For people managers, ensure your associates attend and complete all required trainings satisfactorily and on time.


Education and Experience (in years):

  • 5+ year of related experience
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Degree preferred but not required in lieu of experience
  • Experience in clean room assembly or Manufacturing in the medical device, pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Detailed knowledge of SAP
  • Demonstrated communication and relationship skills, including experience presenting, collaborating and building trusted relationships with management
  • Understands Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
  • Able to influence multiple constituents without direct authority and build strong business partnerships
  • Positive, self-motivated, innovative, adaptable, agreeable personality
  • Able to quickly master operation/maintenance of new IT systems
