Job DescriptionWe seek a highly motivated and dedicated individual to lead discussions with biopharma clients as part of our Pharma Assay Services (PAS) team. PAS is our CRO business providing tissue-based RNAscope ISH assays and image analysis services to hundreds of biotech and biopharma researchers in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Our clients are decision-makers/scientists leading research programs in all areas of therapeutic development. The PAS Presales Specialist will be scientifically and technically knowledgeable, and able to lead discussions with clients to design high-value research studies that will make a meaningful contribution to client programs. Your responsibilities will include understanding client study objectives, guiding clients on RNAscope applications, drafting study plans and providing pricing for client's studies. You will work closely with biotech/biopharma and academic scientists and investigators working in a wide range of therapeutic research areas as well as the internal sales team to support our clients.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a technical and scientific resource to biopharma clients in research project discussions with our ISH technology
• Lead and provide technical and scientific guidance in client discussions to design research projects; understand project goals and convey our utility and value of assay services to support client research
• Design research study plans; prepare statements of work (SOW), and provide pricing for PAS RNAscope ISH projects
• Manage contract service pipeline
• Responding to requests for information
• Perform contract service business analytics and support strategic initiatives to expand business and sales growth
  • Oral and written communication skills a must
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Set up and deliver presentations as representatives for PASQUALIFICATIONS
    • M.S. in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related field with at least 5 years of laboratory experience, PhD preferred
    • 1-2 years of industry experience preferred
    • Customer-facing experience including scientific sales or field application scientist experience preferred
    • Some travel may be required (-10%)
