Qualifications - Minimum 1-2 years of solid Export compliance experience in a dynamic Global Trade environment, with primary responsibility, working knowledge and experience with Exports. 2-3 years of working knowledge and experience with U.S. Imports. - Automotive industry (OEM Parts Supplier, Automaker, EV) is a plus. - Good familiarity with and working experience with the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) - Strong understanding, working knowledge and experience with ECCN, U.S. Export Schedule B, HTS Codes, CROSS system, World Customs Organization (WCO) Explanatory Notes. - Good understanding and working knowledge of the Rules of Origin (Country of Origin determination) - Good understanding and working knowledge of INCOTERMS - Working experience with a GTM/Export Compliance software tool such as SAP GTS, QuestaWeb/Descartes This position will be primarily focused on the operational support of Export shipments (also supporting compliance administration and oversight), while also providing back up support for Import shipments. This role represents the Trade Compliance team as the primary tactical support lead responsible for executing the daily export shipment activities required for the timely, accurate, and compliant documentation and U.S. Export Control checks needed to export parts, components, materials, etc. out of the U.S. and locations around the world.

This role represents the Trade Compliance team as the primary tactical support lead responsible for executing the daily export shipment activities required for the timely, accurate, and compliant documentation and U.S. Export Control checks needed to export parts, components, materials, etc. out of the U.S. and locations around the world.Responsibilities- Where needed, assist the Receiving party in the destination country and/or the Carrier with trouble-shooting issues to help secure the shipment's release in the destination country in a timely and compliant manner.- Provide subject matter expertise and operational support with: Export documentation (e.g., Proforma Invoice, etc.); Determination of ECCN and U.S. Export Schedule B codes; EEI AES filing and record-keeping; U.S. Export Control checks (License and Restrictions determination; Denied/Restricted Party Screening; Deemed Exports), Valuation; Country of Origin determination; trouble-shooting export shipment delays, issues, etc.- Assist with the research, information gathering, and documentation requirements of Customs and other applicable government agency Import regulations and documentation requirements in Europe, Middle East, Canada, and Asia.- Maintaining ECCN, U.S. Schedule B codes and other relevant Export information in the system.- Develop and publish relevant Export Compliance Metrics and KPI reporting; implementing corrective action with follow through to closure.- Assist with other tasks, duties as assigned.*Requirements*

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
