PABCO Gypsum is one of the leading manufacturers of wallboard in the United States and has provided quality products and service since 1972.We are currently accepting resumes for a Material Handler in Newark, CA . This position is responsible for loading and unloading gypsum board on and off a conveyor. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:Training will be providedLoads and unloads gypsum board on and off conveyor manually and assistedInspects wallboard for damages and/or imperfectionsWipes off excessive water on finished tapingChanges tape roll, as neededChanges glue drums, as neededOperating a forkliftAbides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.All other special projects or tasks as assignedSuccessful candidates will have:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Lift and/or move 60 pounds and more.Regular attendance is required.Must be able work 10 am - 6:30 pm with a possibility of changing to 2:30 pm - 11 pm, if business permits.PABCO offers an excellent benefits and compensation package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing retirement plan and wellness programs.
